3.12 - amniotic fluid

- in the space of the embryo is the aminiotic fluid
- this fluid cannot be compressed and it absorbs pressure
- fluid causes floating because the childs bones cannot support them yet as they are not hard
- this means with any blows to the outside uterus it will prevent damage to the unborn child

  1. I do wish you would add images. So often in the examination there will be diagrams to interpret.

  2. there is an other function which is that floating because the bones cannot support the child as they are not calcified (hard) at that time
